Shortly after Kisame Hoshigaki left, a vine grew from the ground, and the true form of White Zetsu returned.
"There's new information. Oh, it's quite lively here."
White Zetsu glanced around at everyone, even though he already knew what was happening inside the base; he was just pretending to be ignorant.
"Just tell us what's going on."
Obito was not in a good mood, and seeing White Zetsu acting dumb made him feel even worse.
"I found traces of Konan."
As soon as he said this, several pairs of eyes turned to White Zetsu.
"Where is she?"
"She's still in the Land of Rain. She seems to be getting help from some family in the Land of Rain, which is why she's been able to stay hidden for so long. Besides, she's always been wary of me and never stays in one place for long."
