Li Mingxi's throat felt a bit choked up; he was really too good to her.
"I'm hanging up." Afraid he would notice her strange feeling, Li Mingxi hung up the phone quickly.
However, that night she had insomnia, and only fell asleep as dawn was breaking.
The next day, Li Mingxi had breakfast and decided to go out for a walk.
She didn't drive but took a taxi to the city center, then walked into a mall, bought a set of sportswear, and changed into a pair of sneakers. Her dress and high heels were placed in a bag, which she carried.
Near the mall, there was a food street. Li Mingxi bought a piece of stinky tofu, added a lot of chili, and thoroughly enjoyed it.
Her mouth burned, but she didn't want to drink water; the spice was stimulating.
At this moment, Xiao Lang called her, asking if she had breakfast.
"I'm eating," Li Mingxi answered succinctly.
"What are you eating?" Xiao Lang asked.
