The Arvus Mage who stood in front of the Prince activated the magic stones he had, and flames began to surge out. This was not an average mage, but one who had passed the Test of the Arvus!
It looked like a Flamethrower, or the enhanced Dragon's Breath spell, but a strange magic was at work that caused the flames on his sword and staff to harden!
The heat was so intense that the nearby floor began to glow red, and the surviving nobles hurriedly dragged themselves away from the path of the weapon. The flames did not move like ordinary fire but held their shape around the blade as though they had become molten steel.
SLASH! BOOOM!
"Fabrica Ignis!" The mage roared as he leapt forward and the power of Will surged out.
Erika leaped up as the ground beneath her exploded from the flames that ignited below! She flew straight up to the ceiling and the frost in her hands made her cling to the ceiling as she prepared to 'leap' down!
