Walter's voice rang in his ears, as clouds of explosions emerged around him. Sequence Number 89 forced his eyes open and activated the tactical computer on his wrist.
During high-speed movement, still in a bizarre position as if tucked under someone's arm, the difficulty of this action for Sequence Number 89 was not to be underestimated. However, the effort might not yield any returns.
Seeing the constantly spinning waiting icon on the tactical computer, Sequence Number 89's heart sank.
"It's over, the signal source is blocked, communication with the outside is cut off, this is an ambush, Captain!"
"This is not an ambush."
Walter's voice remained as calm as ever: "This is the battle we must face!"
