KAMUI DIMENSION
Riser remained standing on one of the dark platforms of the dimension while the Mangekyō Sharingan slowly spun in his eye.
Kamui's infinite space remained silent, but his mind was already organizing the next move while observing Konoha through the spatial distortions spread throughout the dimension.
'Root… how exactly should I deal with this?'
His gaze followed different points of the village through the dimensional rifts while organizing the possibilities. Even if he found one base and eliminated some agents, that wouldn't completely end the problem.
There would still be scattered cells.
There would still be hidden survivors.
There would still be shinobi loyal to Danzō.
Riser slowly crossed his arms while continuing to observe the movements of the village through the Sharingan.
'So this is what Tsunade really wants.'
The conclusion came simply.
She didn't need him to exterminate every Root member. The true objective was something else: destroy the organization's main structure, spread fear, and prevent any quick attempt at internal retaliation.
"Hm…" Riser murmured quietly to himself. "Then I just need to crush enough."
The Mangekyō slowly spun again while Kamui's spatial perception advanced through Konoha's underground points. Hidden tunnels, corridors masked by chakra, and structures buried beneath isolated parts of the village began to appear before his vision.
Then he found it.
An installation much larger than the others.
Hidden deep beneath the village.
'That must be their main base.'
Riser observed the place for a few seconds without hurry while analyzing the internal movement.
There were dozens of presences spread throughout the underground, some patrolling corridors while others remained inside isolated rooms organizing information and equipment.
The structure was still functioning normally.
They clearly still didn't understand the true severity of Danzō's fall.
The space around Riser's body began to distort the next instant.
The Kamui dimension silently swallowed his presence before spitting his body directly in front of Root's underground base entrance in a quick and clean flow.

ROOT BASE
The underground region remained silent, illuminated only by the cold lights spread along the stone walls while Root guards maintained watch near the main entrance.
Then space distorted.
Riser's presence appeared directly in front of the installation without any concern about hiding his arrival.
The two closest shinobi reacted immediately.
"What—"
But Riser didn't even look directly at them.
His hand merely lifted slightly while a wave of magical energy spread around the entire structure at absurd speed.
The barrier closed.
Red runes rapidly appeared around the underground facility, completely sealing the entire area while the external space became isolated from normal perception.
From the outside, nothing seemed different. No civilian would notice any change in that part of the village, and any ordinary shinobi passing through the region would see only another silent area of Konoha during the late night.
But inside the barrier…
The situation had completely changed.
The two Root agents understood that too late.
"INTRUDER—!"
One of them immediately advanced toward Riser, pulling out a kunai while chakra exploded through his feet to increase speed and pressure in the attack.
The other disappeared using Shunshin no Jutsu, trying to reach the inner corridors of the base before the situation worsened.
Riser didn't even pay attention.
The Root shinobi barely managed to reduce the distance between them before touching the magical aura spread around Riser's body.
Then the fire was born.
Black flames exploded without warning around the agent the instant he crossed Riser's magical pressure, brutally enveloping his entire body while the heat destroyed clothes, flesh, and chakra at the same time.
"AAAAAAAHHHH—!!"
The scream echoed through the underground while the shinobi desperately tried to extinguish the flames by rolling on the ground, but that only made it worse. The fire did not diminish, did not hesitate, and left no room for real resistance.
Seconds later…
Only a charred corpse remained.
The smell of burned flesh slowly began spreading through the underground entrance of the base.
Riser observed that without changing expression.
"With the barrier active…" He began walking slowly toward the main installation. "Nobody outside needs to worry about what happens in here."
His magical presence spread through the corridors while red runes discreetly glowed along the walls of the barrier surrounding the entire base.
Now they were trapped.
All of them.
Riser slightly raised his gaze while sensing multiple presences beginning to move inside the underground installation.
Internal alarms had not officially been activated yet, but chaos was already starting to spread through Root's corridors.
Riser smiled slightly.
"I want to see Tsunade's expression when I return to her office later tonight."
The tone came out almost amused.
Because unlike her, Riser had absolutely no intention of dismantling Root in a slow or political way.
Both of his hands slowly rose to the sides while demonic energy began concentrating around his body on a scale much greater than before. The underground air became heavy almost immediately, and even the walls of the base started vibrating under the growing pressure of the magic.
Red runes appeared around his arms.
The ground cracked.
The temperature skyrocketed.
The Root agents spread through the corridors felt it immediately. Some still tried to understand what was happening, while others were already starting to run toward the underground exits.
Too late.
"Goodbye."
Riser's hands thrust forward the next instant.
VRRRRMMMM
The magic exploded.
A colossal wave of demonic fire crossed the entrance of the base like a living storm, advancing through the underground corridors at absurd speed while destroying everything in its path.
Stone melted.
Metal exploded.
Protection seals evaporated before they could even react.
The first agents hit didn't even have time to scream properly. The fire immediately swallowed their bodies, burning flesh, chakra, and bones together while the flames advanced deeper and deeper into the underground installation.
"AAAAAHHHH—!!"
"AAAAAHH—!"
"FAL—"
The voices died midway.
The magic continued advancing without stopping.
Entire corridors were consumed while reinforced doors exploded one after another under the absurd pressure of the demonic flames. Some shinobi tried using Suiton, others raised chakra barriers, and some simply ran.
None of it worked.
Riser's fire crushed everything.
Outside the base, the few Root agents positioned in the surveillance area were also hit when the magical explosion crossed part of the underground structure and violently burst toward the surface.
The ground exploded.
Stones and debris flew into the air while pillars of black fire tore through the night inside the invisible barrier created by Riser.
The external agents tried reacting too late.
One of them disappeared in Shunshin before being directly hit by the flames midair, having his body consumed during the displacement itself. Another desperately tried forming hand seals, but the heat struck first.
Only ashes remained.
Inside the installation, the destruction had already reached the central core of the base.
Files burned.
Laboratories exploded.
Entire rooms collapsed while the demonic magic continued advancing like a calamity impossible to control.
Riser remained standing in front of the destroyed entrance observing everything in silence, his hair moving slightly under the thermal pressure while the reflection of the flames illuminated his blue eyes.
"Everything will burn."
The voice came out low, almost calm, while the fire continued consuming the last pieces of Root's underground installation. The ground still trembled in some points due to the internal explosions, but that no longer mattered.
The base was finished.
Riser partially closed his eyes the next instant and expanded Kenbunshoku Haki throughout the entire area, letting the perception cross the remains of the destroyed structure while searching for any surviving presence among the rubble and flames.
Nothing.
No chakra.
No breathing.
No survivors.
The demonic fire had completely erased everything.
Riser observed the remains of the installation for a few more seconds while the barrier still kept all that destruction isolated from the rest of the village. Thanks to the magical field around the area, no Konoha civilian had noticed explosions, heat, or any sign of the massacre that had just occurred there.
To the outside…
Nothing had changed.
Riser then slowly raised one hand.
The flames began to disappear.
The black fire was gradually pulled back into his magic while the absurd temperature of the region slowly decreased, leaving behind only smoke, melted stone, and an underground crater where Root's main base had once existed.
Not one stone remained standing.
His hand moved again.
The barrier was undone.
The red runes slowly disappeared from the surrounding space while the region returned to integrating normally with Konoha, now completely silent and empty.
Riser observed the destroyed scenery one last time.
'Tomorrow morning they're going to have a nice surprise.'
The space behind him slowly began to distort the next instant.
Kamui opened.
Without any hesitation, Riser stepped backward and disappeared inside the spatial dimension, leaving behind only extinguished ruins and the absolute void where Root had existed just minutes earlier.
