Chapter 385 - Chapter 385 – First Step in Konoha

"Finally found it." Riser kept his gaze fixed on the screen in front of him as he slightly adjusted the focus, observing with precision every detail of the village forming in the projections.

The image showed the center of the village, with the Hokage tower standing above the other structures. The monument right behind made the time point of that world clear, with five faces carved into the stone, something that confirmed Tsunade's presence as the current leader.

"Only five…" He narrowed his eyes slightly, analyzing without hurry. "And that one is Tsunade's… so it matches what I asked for."

Riser didn't look away immediately. He left the image open for a few more seconds, absorbing the structure of the village, the flow of people and the movement patterns. The analysis was quick, but sufficient.

"I could keep watching from here…" He tilted his head slightly, already making the decision. "But it's better to see it in person."

The screen changed.

The focus was now on the main gate of the village, where two ninjas stood on guard, without abnormal movement. There was no visible reinforcement, nor presence of additional units hidden on the surface.

"Well…" Riser crossed his arms slightly as he evaluated the scene. "Security isn't reinforced… and there are only these two."

He kept his gaze fixed on them for a moment longer.

"I remember them from the anime."

The screen changed again.

Now it showed a forest near the village entrance, with vegetation dense enough to conceal any presence that appeared without drawing direct attention.

"This is perfect." He nodded slightly. "A neutral point, without direct exposure."

The choice wasn't random. Appearing directly at the gate would raise immediate suspicion, and he had no interest in starting in that world being treated as a threat.

Riser activated Kamui.

The space around him distorted instantly, pulling his entire body without resistance. The transition was direct, without delay or interference.

His body disappeared.

And reappeared.

_____

FOREST NEAR KONOHA

Riser emerged among the trees, already stable at the point of arrival. His body didn't need adjustment, and the reading of the environment was instant, without wasting time.

He deactivated the Sharingan.

His eyes returned to normal, removing any unnecessary trace that could draw attention before the right moment.

'I wonder how it'll be when they find out…' He kept the thought direct, without changing his posture. 'If the Uchiha were massacred here too… that will draw attention.'

The analysis wasn't about power.

It was about reaction.

Riser activated Kenbunshoku Haki.

His perception expanded immediately, surpassing the forest and reaching more open areas around. The flow of presence was detected clearly, allowing identification of routes, movement and passage points.

He found what he wanted.

A road.

"Perfect." He slightly adjusted his body position. "That solves it."

"Soru."

His body disappeared from the original point.

The movement was instantaneous, without visible transition, cutting the distance between the forest and the road in a single impulse. When he reappeared, he was already on the main path, leaving no trace of the previous movement.

Riser didn't stop.

He just started walking.

The pace was natural, unhurried, as if he already belonged to that environment. His posture didn't change, his gaze remained steady and his attention stayed active, analyzing every detail without needing to show effort.

The gate was ahead.

Two ninjas were already positioned there, alert enough to notice the approach even before Riser reduced the distance. Kotetsu was the first to react, stepping forward with energy, but still maintaining a guard posture.

"Hey, who are you?" He raised his hand slightly, blocking the passage. "You can't enter the village without permission."

Riser didn't change his pace until he stopped at a comfortable distance. His gaze passed quickly over the two before answering, without tension.

"I'm Riser." He kept a neutral tone. "And I'd like to visit your village."

Kotetsu relaxed almost instantly, as if the answer had been enough to resolve the situation.

"Oh, that's it?" He shrugged, already stepping back half a step. "Then you can enter."

Izumo turned his head at the same moment, clearly bothered by the response.

"Are you an idiot?" He cut in directly, adjusting his posture. "We can't let him enter like that."

Kotetsu blinked, looking back at Riser for a second before responding.

"But he looks like just a civilian wanting to visit the village."

Izumo didn't look away.

"A civilian wouldn't make it here alone." He kept his gaze firm. "And we don't even know where he came from."

Riser didn't interfere.

He just observed the exchange in silence, evaluating the behavior pattern of the two and the level of strictness applied to the village's security. The conclusion came quickly.

Kotetsu sighed lightly.

"Alright… you're right."

Izumo turned his full attention to Riser, now more serious.

"You." He narrowed his eyes. "Which village are you from?"

Riser didn't answer immediately.

His eyes changed instantly.

The red appeared, replacing the natural tone as the Sharingan pattern spun within his irises. His focus locked directly onto the two, without any visible effort.

"I'm from a village that doesn't matter." His voice came out steady. "All you have to do is let me pass… and remember that I'm just a civilian."

Neither of them looked away.

Their eyes were locked onto his, without resistance.

"And nothing more."

Riser deactivated the Sharingan.

The change was instant.

Izumo and Kotetsu blinked almost at the same time, as if regaining awareness of a conversation already resolved.

"Of course…" Izumo answered first, without hesitation. "You can enter."

"Enjoy the village." Kotetsu added, already relaxed.

Riser nodded slightly.

"Of course." He took a step forward, passing between them. "Thank you."

He didn't look back.

The walk continued straight into the village, without change in pace, as if nothing had happened. The entry was clean, without alert, without resistance and without any record of threat.

'I didn't want to hypnotize anyone…' The thought came simply as he moved forward. 'But all that conversation is too exhausting.'

The internal environment of the village began to reveal itself as he advanced. Civilians moved around normally, shops open, conversations happening without any sign of tension. Some ninjas were present, but without focus on him.

A vendor was the first to try to draw his attention.

"Hey, you! Visitor!" He called out with energy. "Come into my shop!"

Riser slightly turned his head, just enough to respond.

"Not now." He kept a small smile. "I'm just looking around the village."

The vendor didn't give up.

"What's that!" He stepped forward half a step, insistent. "A real visitor stops by my shop first!" He pointed inside. "You'll get a good discount if you come in now!"

Riser didn't slow down.

"I already said, not now."

He kept moving forward, slightly increasing his pace and blending into the flow of people, leaving the vendor behind without effort.

The man stood there, frustrated, watching the opportunity slip away.

'What an annoying vendor…' Riser kept his gaze ahead. 'Doesn't even know how to take a no… just like in my world.'

His focus shifted naturally.

The Hokage tower was already visible in the distance, standing out above the other structures. The elevated and central position made the command point of the village clear.

Riser slightly adjusted his direction.

'Who am I trying to fool…' He kept the thought direct. 'It's better if I meet Tsunade right away.'

His pace didn't change.

But now he had a clear destination.
