The night inside the mansion had turned… lively.
Buttons clicked. Voices overlapped.
Victory screens flashed.
Tsunade leaned forward, fully focused—Controller in hand.
Leo sat close beside her—One hand lightly guiding hers.
"Not like that," he said calmly.
"Block first… then chain into the combo."
Tsunade frowned hearing his advice but she followed it without any complain.
-Frown!
"…This thing is unnecessarily complicated. It's called timing."
Their hands moved together—Precise. Controlled.
And then—
-WHOOSH!!!
A red blur shot through the mansion.
Shadows didn't react.
They simply… allowed it.
Doors—Hallways—Corners—All crossed in an instant.
The door—SLAM—Opened.
Kushina Uzumaki stood there. Eyes locked.
Scene before her registered.
Leo. Holding Tsunade's hand.
Leaning close. Explaining.
Tsunade. Focused. Unbothered.
Time—Paused.
"…Huh."
Then—Action.
Kushina launched forward—A single leap—Mid-air twist—And—
-THUMP!
She landed right between them.
Not gently. Not politely.
With full intent—She shoved herself into the space—Using pure physical determination.
"…MOVE."
Leo blinked at the sudden interruption.
Tsunade slowly turned her head.
Eyebrow rising.
"…What are you doing?"
Kushina puffed her cheeks.
Arms crossed.
Sitting like she owned the place.
"I'm here to make sure you don't seduce Leo."
Silence.
"...."
"...."
"...."
Aemma froze hearing her.
Sasami froze looking at the little girl.
Leo—Who had just taken a sip of water—
CHOKED.
"—cough—"
Tsunade stared. Once. Twice.
"...."
"…What?"
Kushina nodded firmly.
-Nod!
"You heard me."
Completely serious. Zero hesitation.
Tsunade's eye twitched.
-Twitch!
"…Kid."
A pause.
"…Do you even know what that means?"
Kushina leaned forward slightly.
"Yes."
Confidence. Absolute.
"…And I won't let you do it."
Leo finally recovered—Still coughing lightly.
-Cough!
"…Where did you even learn that—"
Too late.
Tsunade's patience snapped.
Flick.
Her finger struck Kushina's forehead.
"OW!"
Kushina clutched her head. Eyes watering.
"…What was that for?!"
Tsunade crossed her arms.
"For saying nonsense."
Kushina glared back at her.
"I'm not wrong!"
"…You are."
"I'm not!"
"You are."
"I'M NOT!"
"…You are very wrong."
The room descended into chaos.
Leo leaned back slightly.
Watching. Amused.
Aemma covered her mouth. Trying not to laugh.
Sasami had already given up. Laughing openly.
Meanwhile—Kushina and Tsunade—Locked in a battle far more dangerous—Than anything inside the game.
And Leo?
He just picked up his controller again.
"…Round two?"
The room buzzed with noise—Kushina arguing.
Tsunade snapping back.
Aemma laughing.
Sasami enjoying the chaos.
And in the middle of it—Leo sat relaxed.
Controller in hand.
Unbothered.
Then—The lights didn't flicker.
The air didn't change.
But the shadows did.
One stretched—Detached—And rose.
A Shadow Soldier. Silent. Kneeling.
"...."
The room stilled instantly.
Even Tsunade noticed. Her fingers paused on the controller.
Eyes narrowing.
"…Again with these things."
The shadow spoke.
"A message."
Leo didn't turn.
"…From? Danzō Shimura."
Now—Leo paused. Just slightly.
"…Requesting an audience."
Silence followed.
"...."
"...."
"...."
The kind that carried weight.
Tsunade frowned hearing the word of the shadow.
"…Danzō?"
Her tone carried suspicion.
Immediate. Instinctive.
"…What does he want?"
She didn't know.
Because she didn't know everything that had already happened beneath the surface.
The missing Root. The shadows.
The silent executions.
"...."
"...."
"...."
But her instincts—Were already warning her.
Leo leaned back slightly.
Thinking.
Danzō requesting a meeting—Now—After sending Root outside the village?
Not coincidence. Not courtesy.
A move.
The board shifting again.
Tsunade looked at him.
"…You're not actually going, are you?"
Leo glanced at her.
"…Of course I am."
Simple. Certain.
Her frown deepened.
-Frown!
"…That man doesn't do anything without a reason."
Leo's lips curved faintly.
"Neither do I."
A pause. Then he stood.
The atmosphere shifted with him.
Casual—To something sharper.
Kushina looked up.
"…Where are you going?"
Leo glanced down at her.
"To talk."
That was all.
But somehow—It sounded like more.
The Shadow Soldier lowered its head.
Awaiting confirmation. Leo gave a small nod.
-Nod!
"Inform him."
The shadow dissolved instantly.
Gone.
Tsunade clicked her tongue.
"…Tch."
She stood up too.
"I'm coming."
Leo raised an eyebrow.
"…Why?"
She crossed her arms.
"Because I don't trust him."
A beat.
"And someone has to make sure you don't get dragged into something annoying."
Leo chuckled softly.
-Chuckle!
"…That would be a first."
Kushina jumped up immediately.
"I'm coming too!"
"No."
Instant. Simultaneous.
From both Leo—And Tsunade.
"…Eh?!"
Kushina puffed her cheeks again.
"Not fair!"
Leo was already walking.
Tsunade followed.
And just like that—The game ended.
Not on the screen—But on the board that actually mattered.
Meeting Chamber...
The door slid open. Leo entered first.
Unhurried. Unbothered.
Behind him—Tsunade followed.
Arms crossed. Eyes already locked on the room.
Inside—Stillness.
Danzō Shimura stood waiting.
Root operatives behind him.
Silent as carved stone.
For a brief moment—His gaze shifted.
From Leo—To Tsunade.
A flicker of confusion.
Sharp. Hidden quickly.
'Why is she here?'
But he didn't ask.
Leo didn't acknowledge it either.
He simply walked past—Toward a couch—And sat down.
Casually.
As if this wasn't a political meeting—But a passing conversation.
Tsunade remained standing beside him.
Deliberately.
Danzō watched. Measured. Calculating.
Then—
He spoke.
"I have been waiting."
Leo didn't respond.
"...."
So Danzō continued.
"You are currently representing the Uzumaki clan."
A pause.
"I wish to discuss the agreement between Konoha and Uzushiogakure."
Silence followed.
Leo leaned back slightly.
"…Which agreement?"
Danzō's eye narrowed slightly.
"The alliance."
"The mutual support between Senju, Uzumaki… and Konoha."
Tsunade's gaze sharpened.
Now—This had her attention.
Danzō took a step forward.
"In light of recent instability—"
A subtle emphasis.
"—it is necessary to reaffirm that agreement."
Leo's expression didn't change.
"…Reaffirm."
A quiet repetition.
Danzō nodded hearing him.
-Nod!
"Konoha expects Uzushiogakure to stand with us."
There it was.
Not a request. Expectation.
Tsunade frowned hearing it.
-Frown!
"…That's a strange way to phrase an alliance."
Danzō didn't look at her.
"This is not a casual matter."
Leo's fingers tapped lightly against the armrest.
"…And what does Konoha offer in return?"
That—Made Danzō pause.
Just slightly.
Because the answer—Should have been obvious.
But with Leo—Nothing was.
"…Protection."
Leo's lips curved faintly.
"From what?"
Silence.
"...."
"...."
"...."
Danzō held his gaze.
"…From threats that may arise."
Leo's eyes didn't leave him.
"…You mean Kirigakure?"
A beat.
Tsunade's head turned slightly.
Danzō didn't confirm. Didn't deny.
"…The world is unstable."
Careful. Vague.
Leo chuckled softly.
-Chuckle!
"…It became unstable very recently."
A pause.
"…Didn't it?"
The room grew colder.
Danzō's eye sharpened.
Because that—Sounded less like observation—And more like accusation.
Tsunade looked between them.
Now fully alert. Something was off.
Very off.
Danzō changed direction.
"…Regardless. The alliance requires commitment."
A step closer.
"Konoha will act. And Uzushiogakure—"
His voice hardened.
"—will stand with us."
Leo tilted his head slightly.
"…You speak as if that decision has already been made."
Silence.
"...."
"...."
"...."
Danzō didn't answer.
Because—That was exactly how he intended it.
Leo's gaze remained steady.
Unmoved. Unimpressed.
"…Let me be clear."
The air shifted.
Subtly—But unmistakably.
"I don't follow expectations."
A pause.
"I decide outcomes."
Silence crashed down.
"...."
"...."
"...."
Even the Root operatives—
Felt it.Tsunade glanced at Leo.
Because in that moment—He didn't sound like someone negotiating.
He sounded like someone—Setting terms.
Danzō's eye narrowed further.
"…Then decide carefully."
A quiet warning.
Because beneath his words—Was something sharper.
Pressure. Threat.
Leo smiled faintly.
"I always do."
