Anna's sniffles turned into full sobs as the swing creaked. Noah bent in front of her, his large hands gently cupping her face, his thumbs wiping her tears.

"I didn't tell you because that chapter ended years ago. Imelda was part of a different life, before I understood what real love felt like. You crashed into my world that night and nothing has been the same."
