While I was doing that, the air around me suddenly became unbearably hot. The temperature climbed so quickly that I barely had enough time to register what was happening before the space surrounding me erupted into a violent explosion that shook the battlefield.
It was one of Levi's abilities. Any mana she left lingering in the air or anywhere across the battlefield remained completely under her control, allowing her to detonate it whenever she felt like it. It was an incredibly irritating ability to fight against because there was almost no reliable way of knowing exactly where she had hidden her mana beforehand.
I managed to avoid the explosions by constantly keeping my distance, and while weaving around the blasts, I continued creating dark matter spheres before hurling them toward the two of them one after another.
