You've got a point, Li Yifei wasn't planning to keep arguing with Wu Shuwei. Winning meant nothing, especially when both of them knew what was really going on, so he just lifted his hand and flicked Wu Shuwei's nose. The move wasn't fast or slow, yet she forgot to dodge, so Li Yifei got his way.
After eating ice cream and trying a few snacks, Li Yifei and Wu Shuwei were just about to grab a cab back to campus when they suddenly heard a commotion in the distance. Normally, their rule was: if there's drama, don't go sticking your nose in it. So the two of them were getting ready to leave, but then the crowd ahead suddenly went chaotic, people rushing off to both sides.
"In the distance" was actually only thirty-odd meters away. From the moment the chaos broke out to a black sports car charging right up to them, it all happened in barely two or three seconds.
