The cabin was the first place Jiminie went.
He didn't get to look in the office or the chambers they shared for the past week. He didn't even check out the perimeters or even the borders that Agust could have used to leave.
He went right to the cabin next to the lake.
Almost like he knew that there was something wrong there.
Maybe he was insane for the way that his people were looking at him, and he was saying nothing. It was almost like he was snubbing, which was almost true. But then his mind was filled with a certain Lycan who was stressing him the fuck out.
It was quiet when Jiminie reached the cabin.
And frankly, there was no sign of life.
Then again, it would be madness to expect any sign of life given what had happened earlier. Or maybe he was desperate to think that if there was a place that Agust could consider home, then it would be the cabin he had made for them.
