THE CITY OF TOKYO
"BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!"
The alarm clock started ringing.
A young man in his mid-twenties removed his blanket and grabbed the alarm clock as if he were about to split it in two. He looked at the time in alarm.
"It's already past 8:30! I have to reach the office by 9:00. Oh, whatever."
He said this with a calm voice and a gloomy expression.
He walked downstairs and saw his sister, a college student in her twenties. She was a beautiful young woman whom almost everyone at her college wanted to befriend.
She looked at her brother and asked in an angry tone,
"Why are you always so calm when you're late for work?"
Her brother replied with a serious expression.
"It's a secret that has been passed down through our family."
She looked at him curiously.
"Then why don't I know about it? I always panic when I'm late for college."
"Because you're adopted."
Her brother replied without an inch of doubt.
The two stared intensely at each other, making strange faces. Then she suddenly realized that she was getting late for college.
"Aah! I'm not going to argue with you now. I'm getting late for college!"
She grabbed her bag and a piece of bread, placing it in her mouth.
Her brother smirked.
"Complete victory."
"Shut up!"
She replied with an annoyed expression before leaving for college.
Her brother walked out of the house and checked to make sure no one was around him.
Once he confirmed that nobody was watching, he closed his eyes. Then, opening his right eye, he said in a calm voice,
"ONE EYE."
"TELEPORT."
In an instant, he teleported to the parking area of his office, where nobody could see him.
After three hours of work, he suddenly felt a distortion in space.
Only he could sense it.
A thought immediately crossed his mind.
"Are they coming now?"
"Isn't this too early?"
Then he felt a familiar presence coming from the location where the distortion was occurring.
His sister.
His expression immediately changed.
He quickly climbed to the top of the building, closed his left eye, and said,
"ONE EYE."
"TELEPORT."
He teleported to the location where the space distortion had appeared.
A wormhole was rapidly closing before him.
Then he saw his sister's bag lying in front of it.
Without thinking for even a second, he jumped into the wormhole.
His face was filled with anger as he bit his lips.
"How could I let that happen to her?"
"Please be safe, Lisa... please."
10 MINUTES EARLIER
Lisa and her friends were talking to each other behind a convenience store.
Suddenly, a wormhole appeared.
They all panicked as they were sucked into the wormhole.
When they opened their eyes, they found themselves in the middle of a mountain.
Everyone panicked and began talking among themselves.
Lisa:"Ahh! My head still hurts... Where are we? Where is the convenience store?"
Sakura:"I don't know! We were suddenly sucked into that portal, and now we're here!"
Yuta:"I think we were teleported to the past. It looks like we're in the past version of Tokyo."
Shinji:"Guys, I don't think that's the case. Look over there."
Everyone turned in the direction Shinji was pointing.
At that moment, they realized that what they were looking at was something that shouldn't exist.
A chill ran down their spines.
Fear entered their very bones.
Before them stood a horde of monsters.
They had the faces of bulls and stood on two legs. Each of them held a weapon in their hands.
Suddenly, one of the monsters threw a spear toward them.
Everyone thought they were done for.
But then...
A man suddenly appeared in front of them and caught the spear.
The man was furious.
The aura he was giving off made the monsters realize that they were completely fucked.
The man controlled his anger and returned to a calm demeanor.
Grinding his teeth, he asked,
"YOU DARE THROW A SPEAR AT MY SISTER?"
Lisa and her friends immediately realized that the man was Lisa's brother.
They didn't understand what was happening, but all of them felt a sense of relief.
They were safe.
Lisa's brother closed his right eye and opened his left eye.
Then he said,
"ONE EYE."
"INSTANT KILL."
In just a single second, the entire horde of monsters was annihilated.
He grabbed his sister and her friends and teleported them to a region known as the Central Plain.
Lisa had witnessed everything that had just happened.
She was in shock.
Countless thoughts filled her mind.
"What is happening right now?"
"Who is this man? He certainly looks like my brother..."
"Is this a dream?"
Lisa hesitantly asked the man who looked exactly like her brother,
"Are you my brother?"
He replied,
"Yes, I am."
He looked at her calmly.
"I know you have many doubts in your mind, and I will answer all of them."
"But first, let's get out of here."
Using his teleportation ability, Arman teleported himself, Lisa, and her friends to a nearby territory.
They were all shocked by the sight of the town.
There were no tall buildings made of glass.
Instead, there were beautifully crafted wooden houses everywhere.
Sakura hesitantly asked Lisa's brother,
"Can't you teleport us back to our college like you just did?"
He replied,
"No, I can't."
They looked at him in confusion.
He continued,
"Because this is not Earth."
Everyone froze.
"This is NEURON."
They were all shocked upon hearing those words.
At that moment, they all thought the same thing.
"What the fuck?"
