After saying this, Jian Yanyan quickly hung up the phone.
Just after hanging up Qin Yin's call, another call came through. She hurriedly answered it; it was Ning Yang calling.
"Yanyan, I'm sorry, I suddenly have something urgent to handle today, and I need to go out. I can't accompany you to the wedding, but I'll try to come back as soon as possible, maybe I can still make it to pick you up in the evening," Ning Yang said with a deep sense of guilt in his voice.
Jian Yanyan felt a bit upset and somewhat aggrieved but didn't say much, she just asked him, "What's going on? What's so urgent? That it's this pressing?"
"My grandmother suddenly got sick, I need to go check on her."
"Why don't I go with you?" Jian Yanyan thought it was only right since she was Ning Yang's girlfriend now to go and see his family. Plus, she could get a sense of what kind of family he has and whether there might be any issues.
