Alex stared at Damien. "What do you mean by we? I suppose I will be the one leading the soldiers to Mashup village."
Damien didn't blink. He didn't bother looking away from the map he was staring at. "We are leaving together. I have to find out some things for myself."
"Things like?" Alex asked, staring directly at Damien.
Silence.
"Fine. Don't say it if you don't want to." Then he turned back to Gusto. "Please get men prepared for Mashup village. I'll be leading the expedition even if my brother is going with us." He threw a glance at Damien, before leaving the planning room.
Alex balled his fist tight.
Damien just knew exactly how to get to him, even when he didn't want to get angry with him. He knew exactly how to bring out his anger.
