Igor and Kadi were quite satisfied with the place Coban Kangen found. Though it wasn't as lively as a tavern, this place had its own characteristic that was completely different from that of a tavern: absolute tranquility.
Coban Kangen had found a church.
At nighttime, there wouldn't be anyone in the church. The priest would return home to pray, at most leaving some choir members for night watch.
However, this particular night, even the choir members were not present, leaving only a divine statue behind.
"Why is there no one living here, yet there are lights left on?" Kadi's curiosity began to surface.
The question wasn't difficult to answer. Kadi didn't understand because he was always detached from this world.
"These lights are left for the deities, although the deities don't need these candles," Igor explained, not being a devout believer himself, he wasn't too concerned about it.
"Deities, where exactly are they?" Kadi was fascinated by the question.
