Laura Jones had not yet figured out what was happening when her editor directly initiated a video call.
"Laura, did you step in some luck recently? Your luck is amazing!"
Laura looked at her with a face full of confusion and asked:
"I just finished class, what's happened?"
"Your film rights have just been signed, and the production company has arranged to start filming. You should see who the leads are."
Laura chuckled helplessly, "I'm just a newcomer. How big of stars could be acting in my adaptation?"
However, she saw the editor looking at her seriously, shaking her head and saying:
"No, these stars are really big, so big that it's beyond imagination. Guess, hurry up and guess!"
Laura noticed her always composed and aloof editor was now somewhat excited, her cheeks even reddening.
Amused by the editor's demeanor, Laura casually guessed, "Could it be Michael Thompson?"
