"Get out of the way!"
Arfen Finch raised his injured right arm and recklessly pushed Len Xiao away, advancing towards the hospital bed.
Len Xiao stepped back, crashing into the table with the instruments, causing the devices to jingle.
He raised his gun and aimed it at Arfen Finch, standing straight again.
Arfen Finch didn't look at him, nor did he glance at James Xavier; his gaze was fixed on the person lying on the bed.
The girl on the bed had her eyes closed tightly, a bandage wrapped around her forehead, face covered with a large oxygen mask, her messy hair scattered over her face, hiding most of it, looking extremely frail.
"Iria?!"
With his blood-covered right hand, Arfen Finch reached trembling towards the girl, trying to brush away the hair covering her face.
Suddenly, his left arm tensed as his wrist was caught by a slender palm.
He looked down in shock at his left hand, only to find an extra hand on his wrist that seemingly appeared out of nowhere.
