Walking over and sitting down beside him, Kasper Edith gently raised his palm towards Oliver Palmer.
Understanding the gesture, Oliver immediately took Leah and the driver outside the Villa and instructed them to leave.
"What's wrong?"
Reaching out to hold the little one's shoulder, Kasper Edith asked gently.
Osbert Montgomery turned his face, hesitating, "I..."
"Missing your mom, right?" Kasper Edith smiled at him, "Don't be nervous, you can tell me the truth, I won't be mad."
The little one nodded.
All these years of longing for his mother, and now finally meeting his birth mother, Osbert Montgomery naturally felt a yearning for her in his heart, but he was worried that Kasper Edith wouldn't be happy, so he dared not tell the truth.
Kasper Edith took a light breath, gently rubbing his big hand on the little shoulder, then pulled the little guy over to lean on his shoulder.
"I understand how you feel because I'm just like you."
