The servant had already prepared the meal, and everyone took their seats at the table. Sally Dalton helped pour juice for the four of them.
Both Vera Wave and she were pregnant and couldn't drink alcohol, Nathan Leafcastle had just recovered and couldn't drink either, and Kris Cooper didn't find it fun to drink alone and still had to drive later, so they all drank juice together.
With the juice ready, Vera picked up her juice glass.
"Come on, let's toast with juice instead of wine to celebrate Brother Nathan's recovery and discharge from the hospital."
The couple raised their glasses, and Nathan Leafcastle and Sally Dalton across from them also raised their glasses. The small glasses seemed a bit heavy.
"Thank you!"
Nathan Leafcastle pulled back his glass, taking a big gulp as if he were drinking alcohol, while Sally Dalton took a small sip.
Then, Sally proactively extended her glass again.
"This glass is for you two, wishing you eternal love!"
