The black car drove through the hospital gate and stopped in front of the residential building.
The assistant got out and opened the door. Bernardy Dalton stretched his legs out of the car, raised his face to gaze at the residential building ahead, and stepped into the entrance.
The two of them ascended together, arriving at the ICU Ward, but did not see Nathan Leafcastle. A nurse recognized them and quickly stepped forward to inform them that Nathan Leafcastle had been moved to a standard Intensive Care Unit.
Following the nurse's guidance, they soon arrived outside Nathan Leafcastle's ward. Bernardy Dalton took a deep breath and knocked on the door.
"Come in!"
The speaker was Sally Dalton.
The assistant pushed open the door, and Bernardy Dalton stepped into the ward.
Inside the ward, Sally Dalton had just finished twisting a hot towel to wipe Nathan Leafcastle's face. She straightened up the moment she saw her father.
"Dad!"
