A few people hurried to the police station, where Kris Cooper and Vera Wave provided their statements together. Michael Freenan handed over the recorded statements to his subordinates and then fetched a document from the drawer.
"This is the confirmation letter from the U.S. police. It's now confirmed that the person who hired a killer in the U.S. is Irene Spencer." Michael Freenan sat on the couch, "She's now deceased, so evil met evil. Do you have any thoughts on this case?"
Vera Wave quickly spoke up, "Brother Nathan is innocent. He wasn't aware of Irene Spencer's kidnapping of my grandmother."
"Are you sure?" Michael Freenan asked.
"I'm very sure." Vera Wave nodded solemnly, "At the villa, it was him who gave me the phone, allowing me to call Kris."
Michael Freenan glanced sideways at Kris Cooper, who nodded in agreement, "Yes, my phone has the records, proving this point."
