Watching the two concerned pairs of eyes, Vera Wave nodded gently.
"Alright, I'll be good!"
Seeing them off and sitting down to paint, Christoper Cooper reminded Kris Cooper a couple more times before watching the car drive away. He immediately turned with Bailey Hansen to walk towards the nearby surveillance center.
Kris Cooper took Vera Wave back to the old mansion, where Henry Cooper was waiting in the living room. Hearing the door open, he immediately came forward, and upon seeing Vera and Kris walk in, the old man silently breathed a sigh of relief.
Kris Cooper feared he might ask too much and hurried to give the old man a look, "Grandpa, I'll take Vera upstairs first."
Henry Cooper nodded immediately, "Yes, go ahead."
Taking Vera to the upstairs bedroom, Kris Cooper casually pulled off his dirty clothes and guided her into the changing room to switch to loose-fitting loungewear, then brought her to the bedside to lie down.
