Not far away, Tommy Taylor heard the commotion from this side and immediately walked over quickly.
"Miss Dalton!"
Sally Dalton turned her head, sprinting over, "Where's Nathan... where is he?!"
"In the Operating Room." Tommy Taylor turned and walked towards the stairs, "Come on, I'll take you there."
Following him up the stairs, Sally Dalton anxiously asked, "How is Nathan now?"
"I can't say for certain, it's been over an hour since he went in." Tommy Taylor pressed his lips together, "He should... be fine."
These four words were spoken with a noticeably strained tone. Sally Dalton didn't press further, climbing the steps slowly, her steps growing heavier and her heart sinking deeper with each step.
The Operating Room was on the third floor, but the distance felt as if she were climbing a mountain. By the time she finally reached the Operating Room, Sally Dalton felt her chest tighten and she could hardly breathe.
