Hearing the anger in Nathan Leafcastle's tone, the Assistant hurriedly explained.

On the table, the phone rang.
Nathan Leafcastle glanced at Sally Dalton's caller ID, picked up the phone, and put it to his ear.
"Sally, I'm sorry, I have a client at noon today, so I can't join you for lunch. Tonight... I'll make dinner for you as compensation, okay?"
"It's fine, do your work." On the other end, Sally Dalton's tone was forgiving, "Drink less and take care of your health."
The Assistant stood aside, watching Nathan Leafcastle on the phone, slightly frowning.
A moment later, Nathan Leafcastle hung up the phone and raised his eyes to the Assistant.
"Remember, you are my assistant, not someone else's."
