Kris Cooper furrowed his brows slightly. Due to the previous rumors, the public still had some criticisms of Vera Wave.
He was a producer of "Flame" and had to appear at the premiere. If she didn't accompany him, there was no telling what nonsense the journalists would write. However, considering she was currently pregnant, he really didn't want her to attend such social engagements.
"I think I should go with you. We'll just make an appearance and leave. Besides, it's a chance to promote our Peacock River project; we might even sell more houses, right?" Sensing his hesitation, Vera hugged his arm. "What's wrong? Afraid that if I come along, it'll affect your flirting with other actresses?"
Kris Cooper raised an eyebrow. "Fine, let's go together. But let me be clear: I've never flirted with anyone but you. It's always others who flirt with me."
