Ergander was right. As soon as they reached a certain area, they immediately found a suitable passage that led them straight to the summit.
Ergander had a rough idea of where Prasyx's island was, so he chose a passage that was fairly close to it.
"Alright, this is the passage we need," Ergander said, looking at Adam. "I hope we'll meet again in the future."
Adam nodded deeply as a smile spread across his face.
"Sure. When I set out for the Grand Abyss, I imagined what I'd see in the Dark Field. I'm glad that here, in the Light Field, everything turned out exactly this way and that there are monsters like you here."
In response, Ergander shrugged.
"Apart from Blafor and a few other old, grumpy monsters I see once every few decades, I don't have anyone to talk to. You're still young, so you don't fully understand how important it is to have a new conversation partner from time to time."
