Chapter 1934 - Chapter 1471: Thresher

Ma Lin's idea is that the combine harvester harvesting grain does not produce a large amount of grain every second.

If those rotating metal blades are fast enough to break the straw into very small, soft pieces, then using wind to separate the grains from the straw would be very easy.

The density of the grains is much greater than that of the straw, and they slide down together through a relatively large pipe.

Along the way, they encounter multiple openings where the grains can fall through while the straw gets blown upward.

Repeatedly blown several times.

Is this method feasible?

Actually, there is a problem: the amount of straw is very large.

Perhaps separating straw and grain using a net, and blowing the straw off the net with wind is a good approach.

Then there's another issue, what if the straw gets tangled in the net?

Ma Lin was very worried about this problem from the beginning.
