[J. Rell]
Hey, everyone,
It's been a little over a month since the whole Patreon mess happened, and I've got some news for you—both good and bad. As you may know from my previous rants at the end of chapters 164 and 166, it was permanently taken down (nuked, bamboozled, gone), and there was very little I could do about it. If you were an active subscriber there, I'm still so sorry for the sudden disruption. Visa and Mastercard won again, I guess.
Almost three years of writing, and a whole community built around it, gone. I'll be honest, it crushed me pretty hard, wrung out any and all motivation to keep going. So much so that I barely wrote anything for the last few weeks, the first time it happened since... well, ever. Usually I can at least get some notes and drafts done, but this time, nothing. Just emptiness where the words used to be, even though I knew it could happen for having nsfw art and content in my works.
I had seriously been considering putting down the pen, also permanently. And it didn't help that the Subscribestar (Patreon's alternative) verification process turned into a goddamn nightmare. After a whole month of waiting and a good dozen letters, I'm still yet to hear anything from them. Just the worst possible experience with the company, and honestly, I very much don't want to deal with them anymore.
And yet, each time I thought of ending the story and just releasing all the draft chapters I had left at once, I couldn't bring myself to actually do it. It would be the end of Aster, Silvia, and Nivalis, and that hurt far worse than the ban itself. Those sillyheads are too close to my heart to just let go of them, and I love writing them, their little moments of happiness and sadness. While just fictional characters, they have become a huge part of my life, and so have you, dear reader.
That's why I've decided not to give up—at least not yet—and to try to keep going. For the story. For the sillyheads, and for you (also sillyheads). It took some time, but I did find a good home for Everlasting Dream, and it's a little something called Pixiv. It's a Japanese site, not as good or as polished, but a decent alternative. And because it operates under Japanese law, they are much, much more supportive of nsfw creators (bless their horny souls).
The only downside is that they require some slight censoring on the images, pixelation of the most naughty parts, but it's not too bad, and it doesn't affect the story in any way. I kinda even like it this way, adds a little bit of mystery and lets your mind wander where it wants.
If you're okay with the small changes and still want to support the story, please visit the link below. Everlasting dream might not last without you:

It's okay if you can't. Your likes, comments, and even silent reads mean a lot to me, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for those as well. See you in the next chapter🫡
