Chapter 399 - Old Tickets Become Collectibles

Yang Ruoqian refused to call them collectibles.

They were tickets.

Used tickets.

Receipts with seat numbers.

Paper that had already completed its purpose.

Calling them collectibles gave them dignity, and dignity was the first step toward budget requests, display cases, cataloging, preservation rules, and a system panel that looked at paper scraps like they were hidden treasure.

"They are not collectibles," Yang said.

Director Chen nodded. "Ordinary retained tickets."

Yang Ruoqian pointed at him. "Also not retained."

"Used tickets."

"Better."

"Used tickets kept by customers."

Yang Ruoqian lowered his hand.

There it was again. The part outside Xplendi's control. Customers could keep what they bought. They could photograph it, put it in books, compare it with old cards, and tell children this was their first visit to the old cinema.

The company did not need to create collectibles. The audience could create them out of ordinary proof.
