´I guess we have to invite the wolf to the feast, too, Taraji.´ Said Espen from behind me. I nodded softly and opened the door wider for the wolf to walk through. It waited, so I decided to walk inside the castle, and the wolf followed close after me. The door was closed by one of the maids. I thanked her and went to my bedroom to change. I felt the wolf following close behind me. We stopped in front of my bedroom door, and I turned around to face the wolf. ´You wait here, I will come out soon.´ I told the wolf before opening the door and walking in. I was about to close the door behind me, but the wolf pushed its way into my bedroom. I stood there confused, but I gave in.
I grabbed some clothes out of my closet and went fast into my bathroom and locked the door before the wolf could try and force themselves into the bathroom too. I heard scratching sounds of nails at my door. ´No, you can´t come in! I need some privacy for myself!´ I screamed at the wolf before getting into the shower to relax. After 10 minutes, I got out of the shower, and the wolf was still scratching at the door. I saw that the wolf made a hole in my door! I groaned and changed fast into my clothes and opened the door. The second the door opened, the wolf almost jumped onto me and started to sniff me aggressively. I sighed and let it sniff me. Some time later, the wolf left me alone, and I walked out with the wolf behind me.
I rolled my eyes and walked into the dining room with it following behind me. I sat down next to Espen, but the wolf pushed itself between us. ´What is up with the wolf?´ He asked me while taking a bite of his breakfast. ´If I knew, I would have told you all already. It scratched a hole into my bathroom door, a hole from under.´ I told him after taking a bite of my food, and sighed at the delicious taste of the meat. ´I do have to say that the wolf has good taste,´ Said Arthur while eating more of the meat. I felt the wolf run their nose against my leg from the praise it got from Arthur. We all enjoyed our meal together in peace, but I felt guilty knowing that the wolf had nothing to eat.
I called out to a maid and asked if she knew whether there was any leftover meat from the deer. She nodded, so I asked her to bring a big raw piece of meat for the wolf. She nodded with a soft smile and walked away. I reached under the table and felt the fur of the wolf. I was feeling for their ear before scratching behind it. I felt the wolf leaning into my touch, and a soft smile tugged on my lips. Soon, the maid returned with a big piece of raw, bloody meat. I tapped the wolf's head softly, and it came out. I stood up, took the raw, bloody meat from the maid, and placed it gently on a large plate. The wolf got up and licked my hand before eating the meat. I sat back down and wiped my hands clean of the blood.
After finishing our meals, Arthur took Stella to a doctor for a check-up on her baby. Espen and Jackson went on their horses for a ride through their favorite road. The wolf and I were left in the dining room. The wolf went up to me and lowered itself before going between my legs. ´Hey! What do you think you are doing??´ I asked it, but the wolf just got up with me on its back. My legs were hanging in the air, and the wolf shook himself. I yelped and wrapped myself around the wolf; it walked out of the castle with me wrapped around it.
As soon as we were out of the castle, it ran out with me on its back. I screamed while holding on tightly. I closed my eyes, not daring to look up. After what felt like hours, the wolf slowed down, and I finally looked up. I was greeted by a stunning sight, like a dream. Colorful flowers bloomed, a waterfall cascaded, and small animals scampered around. The wolf walked deeper into the beautiful sight and stopped by a....
