However, the carriages behind him were all empty at the front. There were no horses to pull them, no coachmen, nor any other escorts. The curved shafts hovered in the air, as if resting on an invisible horse. The heavy carriage was made of Yin Chen Wood, intricately carved with dense runes. Even the slightest bump would cause those runes to emit a series of subtle Spell Light. Numerous 'light ropes' of varying thickness connected the carriages to the Jiliang, with visible magical power flowing between the ropes.
