Fristy Davis was almost shouting at the top of her lungs; the sound of the pouring rain made her voice seem somewhat scattered.
The Maid held an umbrella, clutching the clothes on her body, shivering a bit from the cold.
"What did you say? Aya?"
"You should know how important Aya is to this family. If you delay my matter, you can't afford the consequences."
Through the rain curtain, the maid couldn't see Fristy Davis's expression clearly, but she seemed to catch a glimpse of the cold light flickering in Fristy's eyes.
The maid hesitated. She had been at the Davis Family for a while, but not too long. She knew of the name Aya, a name that was almost taboo in this family. She had heard some things about Aya from other Elders.
But she was unsure if Fristy Davis was telling the truth. What if she was lying? The Old Man had repeatedly emphasized that Fristy Davis must never step through the Door again, nor should they answer her Phone.
