...

The main city of Babylon.

When Gilgamesh and other Eternals arrived here to "surrender" to Babylon's new king, Chris, he did not immediately summon the remaining three Eternals females. Instead, he chose to entrust the kingdom's affairs to them for assistance, especially to Ajak, the wise leader and also can known as the queen of Eternals, who essentially managed the duties of the king.

Since Chris had eradicated all the Deviants with supreme power on his first day in this era, the Eternals who no longer needed to fight against the Deviants found themselves somewhat idle. Hence, they reluctantly helped Chris, the freerider, in governing the country.

As for Chris, he spends every day carousing with Sersi and Thena, the two female Eternals, in his royal palace, indulging in revelry and debauchery, leading a very merry erotic life~

...

"Let's stop here for today."

Ajak raised her head. Although the Eternals, as an immortal species, had long lifespans, their daily routines were not much different from those of humans and other species.

Rising from her study, the queen picked up a cloak from the nearby rack and draped it over her slightly cool silk undergarments before walking alone to her chambers.

Although she, as the leader of the Eternals, possessed supreme power, she did not particularly enjoy being served by others. There were not many handmaidens around her, to the extent that one could say they were quite scarce.

"Hmm?"

As the weary Ajak approached the doorway of her chambers, she suddenly paused. Then, her entire demeanor transformed from a languid noblewoman to a formidable and fierce warrior, exuding an intense aura, her formerly gentle and elegant countenance turning serious, her face frosty, her long-held high position instantly emanating authority.

The two handmaidens who had been standing by the door, waiting, felt the queen's powerful aura and involuntarily went weak in the legs, kneeling on the ground. However, the queen clearly had no intention of targeting these two poor elven handmaidens who were unaware of what was happening. She simply waved her hand indifferently, and the handmaidens who received the signal quickly retreated in a panic.

With her scepter in hand, the queen personally pushed open the doors of her chambers. With a flick of her hand, the partially open doors immediately closed on their own, revealing a mysterious magical barrier on the doors, which, if one had some knowledge of magic, would recognize as a high-level sealing enchantment.

"I don't know how you managed to sneak in here, but do you really think your clumsy disguise can fool me?"

The queen spoke in a detached and ethereal voice.

"Oh, even after going to such lengths, I didn't expect to be discovered so quickly."

In the seemingly empty chambers, an alluring voice rang out untimely, and then, the closed wardrobe doors swung open, revealing a figure emerging slowly from within.

As the figure stepped out of the wardrobe, much to her surprise, it was not a hidden assassin or a menacing Deviant but the absurd new king of Babylon, the human Chris!

A flicker of indignation passed through the queen's cold eyes. Although she had sensed someone hiding in her chambers even before entering, witnessing this uninvited intruder emerge from her wardrobe, holding one of her personal garments, irked her.

As the original Prime Eternal, for thousands of years, she has been devoted to obeying the will of the Celestials, leading her people to protect humans and fight against Deviants.

Whether it's other Eternals, human imperial envoys, leaders, or even holy messengers of the church, all show the highest respect to her as the leader of the Eternals.

Although as an Eternal, her timeless beauty alone is enough to earn her renown across the entire continent, as a queen, she can easily avoid unnecessary exposure. Anyone she converses with is of an equal prestigious status, and naturally, no one dares to easily disrespect her.

But this man before her not only hid in her wardrobe for who knows how long but emerged holding one of her personal garments, indicating a clear violation.

She has some cleanliness quirks, and knowing this, those clothes would likely have to be disposed of after such an event.

The queen felt somewhat helpless as there were a few garments in the wardrobe that she was particularly fond of, or else they wouldn't be stored there.
