Chapter 29 - Another Marriage_2

(Note: Mature themes and strong language ahead.)

The grand living room of the Jaturapoom Mansion had never witnessed such chaos. Ever since Beam entered the picture a month and a half ago, the estate had transformed into a live drama theater: Forth's abrupt marriage followed by his furious outbursts, the chaotic reception party, Beam's daily antics, unexpected guests, Rome's revelation, Bright's sudden appearance, P'Tine and P'Sarawat's complicated bond, P'Kongpob and P'Arthit's row, and Bright and Rome's marriage.

Just when Forth thought he might finally share a quiet moment with his husband, another scene erupted right in front of him.

Forth turned to his right. Beam was biting his bottom lip in confusion, glaring at Kit, who stood before them with his brand-new husband, Ming.

Beam let out a heavy sigh, unable to believe Kit had actually married Ming just to stay nearby. He scrutinized Kit, his expressions shifting rapidly from second to second. Forth could barely contain himself. Crouching beside Beam, he murmured, "Stop being cute right now, Beam. I'm trying very hard to stay strict."

Beam tilted his head to the left, looking at him blankly. "Hmm?"

"Awww, how cute," Tul cooed from across the room, earning an immediate glare from Forth.

Beam frowned, looking between them. "What does he mean?"

Forth sighed, lightly flicking Beam's forehead. "Psyduck."

Beam rubbed his forehead with a whine. "P', that hurts! Be careful. We need to focus on what's happening here." He turned his attention back to Kit and Ming, unconsciously falling back into his adorable antics.

Realizing he couldn't maintain his composure, Forth sighed again. He couldn't bring himself to scold his little doctor. "Beam, why don't you take Kit up to our room for a private chat while I talk with Ming?"

Beam considered it for a moment, then nodded. Standing up, he grabbed Kit's wrist. "Let me speak to you in private, Kit." He practically dragged Kit down the hall toward the bedroom.

The moment the bedroom door clicked shut, Forth's affectionate aura vanished, replaced by a lethal glare directed at Ming. "Are you out of your fucking mind?!" Forth barked, stepping toward him. "How could you make such a massive decision on your own?"

"Because I love him, P'! I wanted to give a proper name to our relationship," Ming argued, holding Forth's furious gaze.

"You don't have a relationship to give a name to, Ming! Can't you see what he's trying to do?"

"I knew you wouldn't understand me," Ming retorted bitterly. "P'Bright was right—nobody in this house understands my love."

Seeing the situation escalate, Max stepped between them, pulling Forth back. "Forth, calm down and hear his side first."

Forth took a breath and sat back on the sofa. "Fine. Speak."

Ming stepped forward. "P'Kit's brother called him a few days ago, asking where he was staying. When Kit mentioned living with me as a friend, his brother questioned why a 'mere friend' would let someone stay in his personal room for weeks. Kit was so ashamed that he vanished for days. I went to his hospital after finishing business and found him asleep in his office. After hours of pressing him, he finally confessed. P'Bright happened to be there to see P'Pha and overheard us. Bright was ready to take P'Kit away from me, P'Forth... but I promised him I would make our relationship official."

Forth's eyes narrowed. Hearing Bright's name made the whole picture clear: Bright was actively trying to fracture his family. Forth reached out, ruffling Ming's hair.

"Don't you trust your P'Forth?" Forth asked softly. "I'm not angry because you married Kit—I'm disappointed because it shows you didn't trust me. Wouldn't I have supported you? We could have thrown you a grand wedding instead of a rushed court ceremony."

A bright smile broke across Ming's face. "Oh, P'... I knew you'd understand! That's why I refused P'Bright's offer." Ming threw his arms around Forth.

"What did Bright ask you to do?" Forth probed smoothly.

"He tried to recruit me to join his team in Hawaii, promising P'Kit and I could live happily there together. But I told him I'd never leave you, P'."

That fucking traitor, Forth thought, his chest tight with anger.

Lam, Park, Tul, and Max started clapping, congratulating Ming.

"So, are we throwing a party now?" Tul asked eagerly.

"Of course," Park said, glancing at Forth, who gave a firm nod. "Ming didn't tell us about the wedding, but we're still giving him a proper reception."

"Baby, why are you always so eager for a reception?" Max asked with a laugh.

"Because I get to see P'Mew again," Tul replied casually.

Max swallowed hard, completely bewildered by Tul's fascination with that cold-hearted man. Forth and Park exchanged a look with Max; none of them had the energy to deal with Mew's mood swings right now.

"We will throw a big reception," Forth said, steering the conversation back on track. "But right now, we have important deals to close. Right, Ming?"

Ming nodded. "Yes. Plus, Wayo, P'Pha, P'Jin, and P'Bom aren't here anyway. We can host the big party when they get back."

"Speaking of Phana... where is Wayo, Ming?" Forth asked.

"I'm not sure, P'. He called me this morning saying P'Pha arranged a surprise for him and they were heading out. The reception was spotty, but he sounded happy and safe."

"Good to know," Forth said, offering a small smile. "Now, since it's a newlywed's first night, let's not keep Ming waiting."

Ming excused himself to his room, while Forth headed to his office with his lieutenants trailing behind.

"Why is Bright behind every single piece of drama in this house?" Park asked, frustrated.

"He's not just behind it—he's manufacturing it," Lam agreed.

Tul shook his head. "I think you're pointing fingers at the wrong person." Everyone turned to him.

"The real drama started the day Beam entered this house—or rather, the day Forth caged him here."

"What are you implying, Tul?" Forth asked coldly.

"Forth, what was your main reason for marrying Beam in the first place?" Tul asked.

"To ensure Wayo would be happy with his lover," Max answered on Forth's behalf.

"Exactly. Now that Beam is out of the picture between Wayo and Phana, shouldn't we let them marry as soon as possible? What are you waiting for?" Tul pressed.

"Tul, we don't question our leader," Max warned sharply.

Tul glared at Max. "This isn't a business deal, Max. This is our home. We are family, and I care about Wayo's future too."

"I don't believe Phana is right for Wayo," Forth stated firmly, cutting off the argument. The room went silent. "After marrying Beam, I started doubting Phana's true motives. Maybe Wayo was just an influence on him. Phana might not even realize he's in love with Beam—though Beam doesn't return those feelings. He could just be using Wayo because he's sweet." Even if Beam is far sweeter, Forth added silently in his mind.

"And knowing his connection to Bright makes me uneasy," Forth continued aloud. "I sent our men to tail them, but they lost the track. Ask Park."

"It's true," Park confirmed. "Forth expressed his doubts this morning, so I dispatched a team, but Phana moved too fast—or Bright covered his tracks. Tul, are you absolutely certain Bright isn't working with Mr. X?"

"One hundred percent," Tul affirmed. "P'Sing and I personally tracked every lead to locate Mr. X. Even though P'Sing answers to him, my system doesn't lie. He wouldn't cross me." Tul turned to Forth gently. "I'm sorry, Forth. I care about Beam too, but the way he shifts your focus is dangerous. I only care about protecting this family from falling apart."

"That will never happen," Forth said softly. "I will always be here for you all."

"We're in this together," Lam added, placing a reassuring hand on Park's shoulder, while Max wrapped an arm around Tul's waist.

"What about this doctor Ming brought home?" Park asked.

"We'll address him in the morning," Forth instructed. "I won't let anyone break my cousin's heart."

Upstairs in the bedroom, Kit hissed, "What the hell are you thinking?" as Beam continued to glare at him in silence for ten straight minutes.

"You can't ruin my life, Kit!" Beam burst out.

"What do you mean?" Kit frowned.

"This is my house! How dare you marry into the exact same family?!"

"I love Ming," Kit stated, turning his head away to hide his blushing cheeks.

"'I love Ming,'" Beam mocked in a high voice. "Liar! Now I have to beg Forth to forgive you. Do you have any idea how dangerous this household is? And you want to play house here?!"

"You're playing house too, and I didn't say anything!" Kit snapped back.

"Because he forced me! But I'm not leaving him now—never."

"Fine! But I genuinely love Ming," Kit retorted. "The kid is handsome, sweet, completely devoted to me, and as a bonus, he's rich. You know all of this!"

"We made a promise!" Beam yelled.

"Phana is marrying into this family too!" Kit shot back.

"That's completely different—Pha is a husband!"

"How does that change anything?"

"Pha is a husband, which means Wayo will control him! But since this is Forth's house, I control this entire estate!" Beam declared proudly.

Kit groaned, collapsing into a chair. "Geez, instead of asking how or when I got married, you're obsessing over who gets to control the house?"

Beam marched over. "Get up. You can't sit there—this is my room."

"I'm already sitting," Kit said indifferently.

"Get up!"

"No."

Beam grabbed Kit's arm to pull him up, but Kit resisted, triggering an immediate, chaotic physical brawl between the two best friends.

When Forth opened the door moments later, he stopped dead in his tracks. Beam and Kit were standing in the middle of the room, aggressively pulling each other's hair.

"What on earth is going on here?" Forth asked, dumbfounded.

The two stopped, freezing in place without letting go of each other's hair. Beam looked at Forth, then immediately tried to swing at Kit again.

Forth couldn't help but find the situation amusing—Tul wasn't wrong when he said Beam brought endless drama. Stepping in, Forth wrapped his arms around Beam's waist to pull him away. "Let me go, P'! I'm going to knock some sense into this shameless Kitty!"

Even while lifted off the ground, Beam kept kicking his legs toward Kit.

"Beam, baby, calm down... Kit just married Ming. Let it go," Forth coaxed gently.

Beam paused, looking up at Forth's face, then shook his head aggressively and resumed struggling.

"Kit, go to your room. Ming is waiting for you," Forth dismissed.

As Kit walked out, he turned back, winking and sticking his tongue out at Beam. Beam was ready to throw his shoe at Kit's face, but Forth carried him over to the bed. "Please sit still for a moment, sweetheart," Forth exhaled softly.

Beam pouted, sulking in the corner of the bed. "You're taking his side."

Forth slid closer. "What's wrong?"

Beam pulled his knees up, glaring stubbornly. Forth sighed; his stubborn husband was impossible to reason with when he was like this. Cupping Beam's cheek, Forth pulled him into a deep, lingering kiss. Within seconds, Beam dropped his defenses and began kissing him back eagerly.

When they parted, Beam looked up at Forth with dark, seductive eyes. "Do you want me to take you to heaven, P'?"

Forth nodded softly. Beam turned on a soft melody, his hips swaying in sync with the rhythm. A smile touched Forth's lips—Beam always knew how to undo his frustration.

Slowly, Beam shed his clothes item by item until he stood completely bare. He crawled over to Forth, unbuttoning Forth's shirt and pushing the fabric off his shoulders. Sliding down to his knees between Forth's legs, Beam unbuckled his belt and stripped away his trousers.

The moment Beam touched him, a shiver ran down Forth's spine. His body instantly demanded more. Beam took Forth into his mouth, taking him deep down his throat while looking up through his lashes.

"Ahhh... fuck..." Forth growled, his hands gripping the sheets as Beam picked up the pace. Driven wild by the sensation, Forth began thrusting his hips upward into Beam's mouth until he spilled completely over Beam's tongue.

Smirking down at the breathless, beautiful man between his knees, Forth cupped Beam's face, kissing him passionately before rolling them over and taking full control.

The next morning, Beam was at the head of the dining table serving breakfast when Kit walked in alongside Ming.

Looking at the table, Kit remarked, "Lily, aren't there any pancakes? I don't want sandwiches this morning."

Before the maid could answer, Beam interjected smoothly, "Lily has plenty of other work to do. If you want pancakes, go make them yourself."

"You didn't cook this either, so why are you acting grand?" Kit snapped back.

"I didn't make it, but as the master of this house, I set the rules," Beam replied primly, resting his hand casually on Forth's shoulder.

"You—"

"Beam, I'm starving, and I have a 9:00 AM meeting," Forth interrupted smoothly, looking up at Beam warmly. "Would you mind feeding your husband?"

"Of course, P'. Beam is all yours," Beam purred.

Kit made a subtle gagging motion, but Ming patted his arm gently. "P'Kit, don't be mean to P'Beam. You know he cares about you." Kit sighed, nodding in silent agreement.

Later that morning in Forth's private home office, Kit stepped inside. "Ming said you wanted to see me."

"I will ask you this once," Forth began, his aura dropping into a bone-chilling coldness. "Why are you doing this?"

Kit tried to hide his panic, though his trembling hands gave him away—a detail Forth noted with satisfaction. Forcing himself to stay composed, Kit answered, "Because I love him. I want to stay by his side."

"Don't lie to me. I'm not naive like Ming," Forth warned softly.

"I know. And I'm not P'Bright—you can't just tear me away from my lover," Kit retorted.

It was a grave mistake.

Forth unholstered his suppressed pistol and fired a shot without hesitation. The bullet whizzed past Kit's ear, embedding itself into the wall behind him.

Kit jolted violently, his face draining of color. "Are you crazy?!" he gasped. "Think about your brother! He'll lose his mind if you kill me!"

"I raised him," Forth replied calmly, raising the barrel toward Kit's chest once more. "I can easily give him another partner. But I will not allow a threat inside this house. If you won't leave alive, death works just as well. Stand still, or I'll have to put more than one bullet in you."

"Alright! Fine!" Kit yelled, his composure completely shattering. "I'll tell you! P'Bright asked me to join his network as Beam's personal bodyguard!"

"So you're his spy. What a pathetic attempt," Forth sneered, firing a second suppressed shot that grazed Kit's jacket.

"You're completely misunderstanding!" Kit shouted, trembling. "I'm not spying on anyone! I just want to protect my best friend!"

"The same friend you were clawing at last night?" Forth asked dryly.

"That's just how we are! It doesn't mean I'll let anyone put a bullet in his head—or worse, kidnap him!" Kit took a deep breath, trying to steady his voice. "Look, think whatever you want about Phana and me. But Beam is the youngest of us. I've known him since he was thirteen, and Pha has protected him since childhood. He's fiercely protective of Beam. Given your lifestyle, we agreed Beam needs a reliable bodyguard. My skill set is the best fit. Since you own the hospital now, you can assign me as his personal shadow without raising suspicion. If you hire a stranger, Beam will throw a fit. I can stay by his side twenty-four hours a day. And as for Ming—I genuinely love him. So don't ever disrespect my relationship again."

Forth remained silent, calculating Kit's record. It was true—Kit was exceptionally skilled and fiercely loyal to Beam.

"You're hired," Forth declared coldly. "But under my conditions."

"Fine. Beam is my priority anyway—I'm not doing this for your salary," Kit retorted.

"If Beam gets hurt under your watch, I won't fire you, Kit. I will execute you," Forth stated with absolute composure. "So listen carefully. First rule: follow Beam everywhere when he isn't with me. Even into the restroom if you are outside this house."

Kit nodded curtly.

"Second: I will provide you with a weapon. You have absolute authorization to kill anyone who approaches Beam within a three-foot radius with hostile intent. Eliminate anyone who tries to lay a hand on him."

"Even if it's someone from your own family?" Kit asked.

"Even if it's someone from my own family," Forth repeated without hesitation. "Third: report every detail to me. His meals, his shifts, his interactions. Whenever I want to check on him, you will provide immediate updates."

Kit stared at him, gritting his teeth. "You're insane. Who spies on their own husband like this?"

"I am taking care of him," Forth corrected evenly.

"This isn't care, it's invasion of privacy!"

Forth tilted his head, raising the gun once more. "You love Ming, don't you?"

"Yes, I do," Kit snapped.

"I will put a bullet through his head right in front of you. Do you want to test me?"

Kit swallowed his rage, dropping his head in defeat. "Fine, boss. Anything else?"

A slow, satisfied smirk spread across Forth's face. "Nothing for now."
