"Did you not hear what I just said?"
The man's deep voice was tinged with an icy coldness.
Sophie Sullivan shivered, her skin breaking out in goosebumps as she looked at the man's tense jaw. What was wrong with him?
Why was he suddenly so angry?
"Thomas Shannon, what's wrong with you?" Sophie softened her tone, her hands were pinned behind her back by him, and she couldn't break free.
She could only lift her head to look at him, her soft voice carrying a hint of gentleness, "Who has upset you again?"
Upon hearing this, Thomas Shannon laughed, a sarcastic smile at the corner of his mouth, his shadowy cold eyes devoid of any warmth, as he stared deeply at her with those dark eyes.
Sophie felt her scalp tingle under his gaze, as if a cold snake was wrapped around her neck, gripping her throat, making it hard to breathe.
"Thomas Shannon, I'm cold..."
"..." The man looked at her complexly, as if trying to figure out what game she was playing now.
"Hold me."
"..."
