Kai Syaoran had only just made up his mind to go and wipe out Red Hand and all their assassins when he felt a shift in the world. He was not the only one to feel this change, a promised wave of destruction and death. The princess and the monk both looked in the same direction as Kai Syaoran.
"What is going on?" the princess asked.
Kai Syaoran was surprised when he failed to see the future that was about to unfold. He had long ago mastered the laws of time and space; after all, he was called the Forever Absolute. He possessed many bloodline abilities, and many of them dealt specifically with the fabric of reality. One of these abilities allowed him to see the future, past, and present of people and objects alike.
