With a solitary, powerful arc of his spear, he cleanly bisected six rat-type demonic beasts. Capitalizing fully on the element of surprise, he leaped beyond the safety of the array, plunging directly into the heart of the beast ranks. Like a ravenous wolf descending upon a sheepfold, he initiated an indiscriminate slaughter.
The surrounding demonic beasts quickly closed ranks to confront him, yet their counterattack suffered from a complete lack of tactical cohesion. Originating from vastly different species, their disparate combat methodologies hindered their effectiveness. Several frantic attacks meant for Kai Syaoran drifted off target, striking and killing fellow beasts instead. Maneuvering through the chaotic melee, Kai Syaoran exploited every lapse in coordination, routinely utilizing nearby beasts as living shields against incoming strikes.
