Adam Sinclair squinted his eyes, as if he could hear her inner diss, his voice hoarse and misty as he said, "I called you, you just didn't hear it."
Olivia Lewis rubbed her nose that had been hurt from the bump, accepting his explanation with annoyance, "Okay, I just wasn't paying attention. What's up?"
Adam raised the phone in his hand, showing her the message, "The driver said that August Oliver has already been picked up by someone, so you can rest assured."
Olivia took his phone, looked at the message from the driver, pursed her lips, and asked worriedly, "Do you know who took him? It's not an enemy, is it?"
Adam's eyes flashed with a trace of displeasure, but he still took the phone back and said, "It's someone from his father's side, rest assured, those people will take good care of him."
Olivia realized belatedly that he was jealous, finding it amusing but also more curious about August Oliver's background, "Adam, do you know what August Oliver's lineage is about?"
