After lunch, Susannah Young felt a bit unwell, so she decided not to attend the auction event.
In the end, only Jane Sampson followed Brooke Black and James Carter, and the three set out together, arriving at the venue 15 minutes early at 2:20 PM in the afternoon.
This was Jane Sampson's first time attending such an occasion.
Today, besides business tycoons like Brooke Black, there were also many celebrity artists present.
As soon as Jane Sampson entered, she ran into a few acquaintances. Shirley Young was standing together with several people including Matthew Chip, and when Jane Sampson came in, Matthew Chip was the first to notice.
"Little Jane," Matthew Chip greeted Jane Sampson, "What a coincidence, you're here today too?"
"Mm." Jane Sampson nodded and then called out to Shirley Young, "Uncle?"
Shirley Young laughed, "I'm still not quite used to you calling me Uncle."
