"Let's go back." Jane Sampson pulled James Black forward, "It's too cold, let's run back slowly."
James Black held her tightly, "Don't run, let's walk back slowly. We just had dinner not long ago, be careful about your stomachache."
Jane Sampson stuck her tongue out and obediently walked beside James Black.
Once back in the dormitory, Jane Sampson crossed her legs on the sofa and opened the script to read.
James Black didn't disturb Jane Sampson, he went to the bedroom to shower first, then entered the study to work on his matters.
The movie script wasn't thick, but Jane Sampson was reading very attentively. When she reached the last page, she looked up at the time and found it was almost 11 o'clock.
She realized she had been reading for over three hours without moving at all.
James Black had at some point come out from the study and returned to the bedroom, perhaps noticing her absorbed and dedicated reading, so he didn't interrupt her to remind her to sleep.
