The man sat there mockingly watching her for a while, seemingly unsurprised by her reluctance to take off her clothes. He neither urged her nor made any other moves, just leaned back in his chair, observing coldly.
Aldana Candi clenched her teeth tightly, feeling utterly humiliated by the man's indifferent gaze.
"Forget it," the man stood up from his chair, slightly impatient, "I'll do it."
Aldana watched him walk back in front of her, and she couldn't help but call out to him, "Liam Summer."
She was almost enduring, restraining everything.
He looked down at her.
"Why are you treating me like this?" she asked with reddened eyes, "What did I ever do to you?"
She was filled with grief and anger, but helpless.
She wanted to vent, but couldn't find an outlet, trapped by this man, she was truly miserable.
The man reached out to her, his slightly cool fingertips lifted her chin. He moved his fingers so that her eyes met his. "I want to ask you the same."
