Aldana Candi sat silently on the bed.
Someone sitting on the bed without getting an answer started looking around.
He glanced at the bare room, then curiously asked, "Is this our home?"
Aldana Candi was a bit annoyed. She looked at her crutch, wanting to knock this guy out again.
She stayed silent for a long time, long enough for the other person's stomach to start growling, before she snapped back to reality.
She cast a strange look at the man sitting on the bed, silently picked up the crutch, and stood up from the bed.
Philip Shaw sat there watching her paused movements, and for a few seconds, he felt like this woman wanted to hit him with the crutch.
Aldana Candi went to heat up the chicken soup she saved from yesterday, then came out with it.
The two of them sat by the bed eating the leftover chicken.
