Philip Shaw got back into bed and held her again, rubbing his smooth cheek against her face a few times. The two of them lay on the warm bed, watching the heavy snow outside the window.
Aldana Candi struggled a bit, but seeing the man had no intention of letting go, she lazily stopped trying and rested her face against his chest, closing her eyes.
After falling ill, her body felt very tired, even her thoughts seemed to stagnate, just thinking about things felt unbearably exhausting.
So she simply stopped thinking.
She decided to worry about things when she felt better physically.
