His heart was still aching, as if it only had this painful function left, he looked at Aldana Candi for a moment, then frowned and stepped back a few steps, tiredly sitting in a chair.
He gently rubbed his chest, trying to ease the suffocating pain. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a sneaky figure approaching. He turned his head to see a woman hiding behind a potted plant, peeking out. Seeing him look over, she quickly shrank back behind the plant in fright.
Philip Shaw frowned.
The person seemed to realize that he had spotted her and nervously stepped out, touching the back of her head and lightly coughing, "What a coincidence, hahaha..." trying to cover the awkwardness with a silly laugh.
Philip Shaw removed his fingers from his chest, leaned his head against the wall, eyes half-closed, looking exhausted: "What are you doing here?"
