Victoria Gibson turned away from the Bed and lifted her feet, ready to leave.
"Cough, cough…" A light cough suddenly sounded.
Her Footsteps paused.
Reason told her she should turn around and leave without hesitation, pretending she hadn't heard anything.
But the moment she thought about it, Chad Yakov didn't seem to have done anything bad to her, and he was even willing to give her a chance to stay at CJ Company. If she just walked away like this, wouldn't that be a bit like repaying kindness with ingratitude?

"Hey, you okay?"
Victoria Gibson asked casually, thinking that if he said "I'm fine," she'd leave right away.
But before Chad could open his Mouth, she caught a glimpse of his abnormal Facial expression from the corner of her Eyes, and her brows knitted slightly.
