The one oblivious to the current situation probably still thinks that the present Cangping God Emperor is the same affable and easygoing emperor of the past, unaware that the heavens have changed long ago.
"Your Majesty is wise."
In the hair-raising silence, the Old Ancestor of the Ying Clan, Heaven Pillar Saint King, loudly spoke, breaking the tranquility of the chamber.
He stepped forward, bowed towards the Cangping God Emperor, and said: "In times of chaos, heavy measures must be used. Your Majesty's current approach of killing the chicken to warn the monkey is precisely to awaken those mansion owners and vassal kings with hidden intentions, reminding them not to forget who protected their ancestors to open up lands abroad, and who sheltered them to allow stable development amidst external threats."
With Heaven Pillar Saint King speaking out, the rest of the ministers also reacted, expressing their support for His Majesty.
Soon, a royal decree was issued.
