Imarinis looked at the unexpected guests in his house with hostility, tightly grasping the waist of his princess wife, who was dissatisfied with their visit.
"Avilena brought you here?" His question sounded irritated. "You came early, the birth is not soon."
"How cute he is!" Irinel said affectionately, holding Tarmio's hand. "Reminds me of someone."
Imarinis cast a disapproving glance at the graceful, long-haired guy.
"We are visiting a friend and came to see you, dear," Tarmio clarified with a restrained smile. "It turns out that you have a new husband, and he's so unfriendly."
"I'm divorcing you, and after the birth of the child, don't even dare come close to me," Zarmina snapped angrily.
"Oh, what kind of attitude?" Tarmio exclaimed, his eyes flashing. "I've always been kind to you, it's a shame to hear. Why do you hate me?"
"You know why!" She threw it in his face.
"This is not a reason to despise me so openly in front of your new husband, you are not at all trying to understand the feelings of others and do not want to accept the nature of syrinxes. How are you going to continue to live in our society, where there will no longer be the same prohibitions on expressions of love?"
"But it doesn't concern me what and how you do, I decided to stay here on Zaria with Imarinis."
"It's unlikely that you're staying here because of him? You got a new husband to cover up your passion for the King and his son."
"You can understand her, Mio," Irinel said quietly, stroking his lover's shoulder. "It is impossible to abandon Lariel and Gedeon. The Zarian Gods are so gorgeous! I would admire them endlessly. How long will we stay here?"
Tarmio did not answer, piercing his gaze with the owner of the house.
"Where is your hospitality, Imarinis? It's rude of you not to offer us a place to stay overnight. I am still Zarmina's husband and have the right to be with her."
"I don't know you at all to trust you," the Zarian objected. "What if you take advantage of me in a dream or throw an orgy in my house? Go to the black-winged men, they will be glad to see you and will serve you to the fullest extent. There persons like you as honored guests."
"Who do you take us for?" Tarmio flared up. "The Zarians have too prejudiced opinions about the aristocrats of Xantari. I won't leave here until you treat us well."
Tarmio decisively walked into the living room and lounged on the sofa. Irinel, looking around in fear at the dumbfounded owners of the house, settled down next to him.
"Oh! Well, that's just funny! Husband and wife, but nothing happened between you. Is it customary in Zaria to live in the same house and abstain from intimacy?" Tarmio mocked cheekily. "Sit down next to us, we'll have a heart-to-heart talk, we're one family!"
Imarinis realized that it would not be possible to drive away the Xantarians and sat down, frowning, in a nearby chair under their gaze, and the irritated Zarmina defiantly headed to her room.
"She has a stubborn temper! You managed to fall in love with this touchy one," Tarmio said. - "But I understand that the vamp's thirst is merciless and forces her to endure her antics."
"Are you clairvoyant?" Imarinis asked reluctantly. "You know too much about me."
"Yeah! But this ability did not help me get closer to Zarmina. We tried so hard to diversify her life, tried to please her with entertainment and affection, but she found a reason to reject me because of Irinel. Can you imagine? She is disgusted by close relationships between guys. How did she react to your lover then?"
"I broke up with him because of her," Imarinis answered quietly.
"Oh, a hard case!" Tarmio flashed his eyes. "It's because of a capricious woman that there are such victims. Do you know that she is crazy about Gedeon and Lariel?"
"Yes, I recently pulled her away from young man."
"Has Deo come to his senses yet?"
The owner of the house nodded.
Irinel perked up and smiled dreamily.
"I want to see him," - he whispered excitedly.
"Only he has amnesia, he doesn't remember anyone," Imarinis explained.
"Well, great! I'll get to know him again," Irinel jumped up happy and ran out into the street.
"Why does he need him?"
"Fell in love! Now he'll rush into the palace and throw himself on his neck," Tarmio laughed.
"Gedeon doesn't serve men, what does he hope for? Aren't you jealous of your lover?"
"No, of course, it's funny to be jealous of Lamori! He is dissolute by nature. Always sticks to handsome guys. By the way, what don't you like about black-winged girls?"
"They are affectionate and flexible, but do not excite. And if you consider that I became a vamp, then they don't suit me in terms of energy."
"And I'll try, since I'm already on Zaria," Tarmio stood up and headed towards the exit. "See you!"
He had barely stepped outside when he was called out by Ramies, who rushed to him with hugs:
"Are you here, my little naughty boy? Long time no see. Want new sensations?"
"Zarmina ran away from me with Gedeon, and you seem to be aware of our not easy relationship."
"Oh yeah! No one can hide from my "eye," Ramies teased, dreamily smoothing his old fella's shoulder. "Sorry, but you are not suitable for each other."
"Nobody suits her, she remains a capricious piece of ice..."
"And now she's Imarinis's headache, the poor fellow is in trouble," - Ramies laughed cheekily. "I saw your sweetie rushing to the palace at full speed. Such a cute little guy, when did you manage to warm him up? The bans have only recently been lifted."
"Do you like him? You can play around while we hang around here. Irinel is very affectionate and gentle."
"I noticed. I want to date him."
"You live here now, don't you want to go back? Now everything has changed, well, you know."
"It's more comfortable here! The Gods and their powerful energies imbue me with magical power, and my wife, Avilena, is an ascetic of the Lord. She is now forever connected with him, and I dream, as her husband, to gain at least a particle of his boundless power."
