The son was always close to her, yet Paige saw estrangement and refusal in Dylan's eyes.
Mother and son hadn't met for so long, but Dylan would rather stay by Sienna Johnson's side than hers.
Paige said, "Dylan, come to mommy."
Dylan looked up at his mother, hesitated for a moment, but obediently walked over.
"Dylan, mommy misses you very much." Paige hugged her son and kissed him on the cheek, her love for him undiminished.
Dylan said unhappily, "No, you don't miss me! If you did, you would've come back. I thought you'd never come back."
Sienna Johnson said, "Be good, Dylan. Mommy is back now. Next time mommy travels, I'll take you with me."
"Dylan, how about we go to the North Pole? You wanted to see the aurora borealis, didn't you? Mommy's been there before, and the aurora borealis is beautiful."
Dylan showed a look of longing, glanced at the man sitting next to his mother, then bowed his head and said nothing more.
