September 1st, the first day of school.
Curly is in the senior class of kindergarten now, and next year she'll be in primary school.
Although she couldn't personally take her daughter to school, Sienna Johnson still got up early to make a hearty breakfast for Curly, celebrating her promotion to the senior class.
At the dining table, Curly fell asleep while eating.
"What did you do last night? Why are you so sleepy?" Sienna Johnson tapped her head to wake her up.
"Mom, I was doing homework last night, so much homework. Will there be even more when I go to primary school?" Curly asked nervously.
"I checked your homework, there's not much at all.
Your teacher, Mrs. Wright, assigned it reasonably. But if you leave it all until the last few days, it will seem like a lot."
Sienna Johnson placed a shrimp dumpling in her bowl. Although Sienna always complained that she was gaining weight, she felt sorry when Curly ate less.
