As Killer Bee arrogantly declared his claim over the staff, Uchiha Sasuke, filled with rage, had no intention of tolerating him.
"Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu!" (Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!)
A massive fireball shot from Sasuke's mouth toward Killer Bee's location. In response, Killer Bee swiftly kicked Coulson out of harm's way and used the Substitution Jutsu to evade the fiery attack.
"Boom!"
The fireball collided with the church wall, blowing a large hole through it. The second floor shook violently from the impact, causing Skye and the others to hurriedly run downstairs, fearing the structure might collapse.
Killer Bee reappeared off to the side and drew his twin swords.
"Swallow Return!"
As he dashed forward, with his body enveloped in lightning chakra, Sasuke's lips curled into a slight smirk.
"Swish!"
A flash of white light swept through the air, and Killer Bee's thrown weapons were effortlessly deflected by Sasuke's Kusanagi blade, embedding themselves into a nearby pillar.
"Chidori Eisō!" (Chidori Sharp Spear)
At the same time, Sasuke extended his left hand toward Killer Bee, releasing a bolt of lightning in the form of a spear, which instantly pierced through Killer Bee's left chest.
"You, a mere shinobi of the Cloud Village, dare to challenge an Uchiha? Utterly ridiculous."
Coulson, who had just gotten back to his feet, stood frozen in shock. He hadn't anticipated the battle ending so quickly.
From the moment Sasuke launched his attack to the moment he wounded Killer Bee, only a few seconds had passed.
Blood flowed from Killer Bee's mouth as the paralyzing effect of the Chidori Sharp Spear prevented him from moving.
Sasuke's Sharingan glowed, with three tomoe spinning in his eyes as he scanned the surroundings.
Then, he dismissed the lightning spear and released his attack.
With the Chidori dissipated, Killer Bee dropped to one knee, coughing up more blood.
"Cough!"
Without sparing another glance, Sasuke sealed the staff into a scroll and left the church.
Skye rushed over, kneeling beside Killer Bee and shouting, "Killer Bee!"
"Let go of me. I need to heal myself!"
Skye quickly released him, and Killer Bee placed his right hand on his chest, using the Palm Healing Jutsu.
The wound began to heal rapidly, the flesh closing up before their very eyes.
Mei and Ward approached Coulson, who was still processing the scene.
"Sir, what do we do now?" Mei asked.
Coulson glanced at Killer Bee, who was focusing on his healing, and then at Randolph, who was descending the stairs with Fitz and Simmons.
After a brief moment of thought, Coulson said, "Let's head back to the Airbus."
…
On the Airbus-
Skye sat on the couch, her mind replaying the scene of Uchiha Sasuke effortlessly defeating Ward, Mei, Coulson, and then wounding Killer Bee.
It was her first real encounter with the overwhelming power of a shinobi from Konoha.
The experience reminded her of the rumors circulating on the dark web about the Charles Agency, which was said to be capable of fulfilling any request as long as you could afford the price—whether it was assassination, rescue, finding someone or something, the agency had a 100% mission success rate.
'If I go there, maybe I'll finally get answers about my biological parents,' Skye thought to herself, 'Instead of just following Coulson, completing mission after mission, with no clue when I'll get the information I need.'
…
In the office-
Coulson looked at Randolph and said, "Your staff was taken by the Konoha ninja."
Randolph shrugged, seemingly unbothered, "I gave up on that weapon long ago, didn't I?"
Coulson nodded, understanding what Randolph meant, before asking, "Do you want us to take you back to the university?"
Randolph sighed, "Europe's fascination with all things related to Asgardian is at its peak right now. Maybe it's time I find a new place to start over."
Coulson smiled and suggested, "A beautiful beach, perhaps?"
"Drinking tropical cocktails and getting massages all day?" Randolph joked.
"I'd get bored of that," he replied, then offered his own suggestion.
"I should consider the Pacific Northwest, like Portland."
"There's great food, and the symphony's pretty fantastic," Coulson added with a smile.
Randolph chuckled, "Unless you plan to visit me, my experiences aren't something I can share with just anyone."
Coulson nodded, "Sure, if Thor happens to be around, I'll introduce you."
…
Meanwhile-
Ward and May sat at the bar, sipping their whiskey.
"Even with the enhancement serum and the staff in our hands, we're still like ants in front of those powerful shinobi," Ward mused.
May downed her whiskey in one gulp and added, "They're like gods."
Ward recalled the image that Kabuto had handed to him, then said, "But they're just humans from Earth who've trained to such levels."
May, aware of Ward's interest in the shinobi training system, shook her head, "No one has managed to get their hands on their training methods, not even Killer Bee will share how they train."
Ward fell silent, not saying another word.
…
After dropping Professor Randolph off, Coulson returned to the plane, just in time to pass by Killer Bee.
Coulson stopped and addressed him, "It's unfortunate that we couldn't make a deal."
Killer Bee looked up and replied, "I need to return to New York, to meet with C and Darui."
Coulson quickly responded, "I hope you don't act impulsively. There are a lot of Konoha shinobi stationed here."
Killer Bee nodded, "I know. C brought me to visit Charles Doyle not long ago."
Seeing that Killer Bee understood his meaning, Coulson added, "I also have to head back to New York. This situation has had a big impact on us."
"Of course, we'll make up for that concert we owe you."
Killer Bee nodded in agreement.
…
Elsewhere-
After leaving the church, Sasuke Uchiha used the Reverse Summoning Jutsu to arrive in the Summoning Realm.
"Parker, I need you to deliver this scroll to Lord Charles."
"It contains what he needs."
After handing the scroll to Parker and placing it in the dog's backpack, Sasuke left the Summoning Realm.
He already knew the location of Itachi Uchiha and the others. Now, he needed to head there.
